Hi. sorry, but class can’t take place today.
UPDATED: It will hopefully resume next week and we’ll be finishing off soldering the ADC (analogue to digital converter circuit) and starting to learn how to program in assembly language. I recommend if you have time to watch these Prof Ajit Pal – of the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He has a marvelous series of lectures on micro-controllers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=liRPtvj7bFU&list=PL0E131A78ABFBFDD0 – From about Lecture 21, Prof Ajit starts talking about the 8051. But the other lectures are relevant also. (the AT89C2051 is compatible with the famous 8051).
the Headmaster said I can make the electronics ‘society’ OFFICIAL so you can get credited for your attendance etc, and will look good on your UCAS (or similar) uni applications. I just gotta see Rizal fill out the forms.
